Directions:
Crochet a chain in colors corresponding to the first row of the chart below (e.g., ch 15 red, ch 15 yellow, ch 15 blue). Draw up 1 st in each chain, in preparation for working in Tunisian Simple Stitch (TSS).
Work in TSS for rows 2-135 of chart.
Repeat rows 1-135 of chart, until scarf reaches desired length.
Bind off in pattern (e.g., using Tunisian bind-off).
Repeat the above steps to create the second half of the scarf, in a matching length.
Block the two halves of the scarf separately.
Lay the two halves together (with WS on the interior) and, using black, sc evenly around the outer edge of the scarf.
With yarn needle, weave in any remaining exposed ends.
Attach fringe, if desired.

IMPORTANT NOTE!: It should be noted that the chart reads from bottom to top. Row #1 is the row closest to this line of text. Work your way up from there. On the last row, if you're choosing to bind off, obviously, you should eliminate the prongs inserted into the last row of pieces.
